Pathology and Toxicology Lead Executive performs the following duties:

• Perform pathological examinations and identify the causes of animal deaths.
• Document pathological lesions by preserving tissues or in the form of photography.
• Collaborate with others and perform animal health research.
• Conduct research to explore and document ethnoveterinary practices in the country.
• Identify/ characterize toxins from plants, industrial wastes, heavy metals etc, and determine their effect on animal wellbeing.
• Design and implement experimental trials to determine efficacy and safety of medicines including herbal medicines.
